Apple has introduced a new tool called Apple Business Connect that allows business owners to claim and customize their listings on Apple Maps, Messages, Siri, Wallet, and other apps. This is particularly useful for Apple Maps, as it allows businesses to edit basic information such as the business name, address, and description, add logos and photos, and create new actions like reservations, orders, and special promotions. Additionally, businesses can integrate their services with online platforms like Instacart, Booking.com, and OpenTable. The tool is available for free.

Apple has also added a new feature called Showcases, which allows businesses to promote incentives, discounts, and other offers to users. Showcases will initially be available in the United States and will be rolled out to more countries in the coming months. Users will see a new “From the business” section in the app, where they will be able to find any promotions offered by the business. To use Apple Business Connect, business owners need to register with their Apple ID on the Apple Business Connect website using a desktop or laptop computer. The business must be verified by Apple before the owner can access the place card information.
