Google yesterday formalized the arrival of its Find My Device network, which follows the main lines of Apple’s Locate network. It works on exactly the same principle, using millions of Android devices (from Android 9) to locate compatible devices and nearby trackers using their Bluetooth connection. The user’s devices appear on a map, display their battery level and it is possible to make them ring to better locate them.
