Today, Apple released the second beta version of its upcoming iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 updates for public beta testers, making the software available to the general public. The release of the public beta follows one day after the beta was provided to developers, and about a month after the first public beta was released.

Individuals who are enrolled in Apple’s free beta testing program and are part of the public beta testers group can access and download the iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 updates by installing the necessary certificate from the Public Beta website and updating the software over the air. So far, it appears that the iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 updates are relatively minor compared to the previous iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 releases. The updates include the feature of supporting physical security keys for added protection to an Apple ID.
