Recently, Counterpoint Research published a report indicating that Apple’s connected watch is still far ahead of its competitors. Sales of the Apple Watch have grown by 48% year-on-year, according to figures published by the firm.

Since the launch of its first version in April 2015, the Apple Watch has continued to attract new customers around the world. Sales of the connected watch exceed those of the Pixel Watch and Galaxy Watch .
The market analysis firm indicates that the total sales of the Apple Watch would represent 50.6% of the global market for Premium connected watches. In the previous quarter, sales accounted for 54% of the market.
Samsung, the number 1 competitor of the Cupertino company, occupies the second position in the ranking, with 22.3% of the total market share, despite an increase of 5%. Amazfit comes third with 7.1% market share, followed by Huawei with 6.4%. The American brand Garmin comes last with 4.5% of the market.
The year 2022 is still breaking records for connected watches. The firm indicates that the sector would have experienced a growth of 30% during the third quarter of the current year. Remember that Apple unveiled the eighth generation of its connected watch last September.
