Yes, new tags will mess up your “hack.” The fix for this is pretty easy, however. Just go to the folder with the hack images, un-tag yourself from all five, then re-tag yourself.

It’s a bit of a nuisance, but it seems like the only way to fix things. I don’t think Facebook will ever give you the option to keep your main “hack” images the same after you’ve been tagged in new photos. It goes against the new format’s raison d’etre.
